I’m walking in Heart & Sole - Walk for Sick Kids to help families stay close

I’m taking part in Heart & Sole – Walk for Sick Kids to help families stay close when it matters most.

When a child is seriously ill or injured, everything changes. Being close to the hospital can make an incredibly tough time just that little bit easier.

That’s why I’m walking 20km and raising funds to help families stay close to their child’s care at Ronald McDonald House, in hospital Family Rooms, and across Northern NSW.

Around $190 can help support a family for one night providing a place to stay, meals and the comfort of being together.

I don't get why McDonalds needs old ladies to walk 20km in order to raise money for their charity. This is a company that generates 8 billion dollars of profit annually. But whatever, here's 20 bucks.
