I’m walking in Heart & Sole - Walk for Sick Kids to help families stay close

I’m taking part in Heart & Sole – Walk for Sick Kids to help families stay close when it matters most.

When a child is seriously ill or injured, everything changes. Being close to the hospital can make an incredibly tough time just that little bit easier.

That’s why I’m walking 20km and raising funds to help families stay close to their child’s care at Ronald McDonald House, in hospital Family Rooms, and across Northern NSW.

Around $190 can help support a family for one night providing a place to stay, meals and the comfort of being together.

Supporting Ronald MacDonald House

Tuesday 28th Apr
When Darcy was born we were in three different hospitals over three months. Flown from Newcastle to Westmead and then to the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. For the majority of that time we stayed at Ronald MacDonald house. We will be forever grateful for the support and care we received then and since. This is just a small way to give back.
