Exceed's Big Bake Fundraiser

Last year, our amazing Exceed Early Learning Centre community raised almost $850 for the Make A Wish Foundation. We were so grateful for everyone's generosity, and this year we're hoping to make an even bigger difference.

From Monday 3rd August to Friday 7th August, we'll be holding Exceed's Big Bake Fundraiser in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities, a cause that is incredibly close to my heart.

Two years ago, my nephew, Jaxon, underwent treatment at John Hunter Hospital. During this time, my sister stayed at Ronald McDonald House for several months so she could remain by his side throughout his treatment. Having a safe and welcoming place to stay close to the hospital meant our family could focus on what mattered most: supporting Jaxon.

While Jaxon is doing much better today, he still occasionally returns to John Hunter Hospital for emergency care and follow up appointments. The support Ronald McDonald House provided during one of the most challenging times in our lives is something our family will always be grateful for.

Choosing Ronald McDonald House Charities for this year's fundraiser is my way of giving back to an organisation that supported my family when we needed it most.

Every cupcake, slice, biscuit and donation, big or small, will help Ronald McDonald House continue providing accommodation, comfort and support to families with seriously ill or injured children.
