2026 Community Ride for Sick Kids NNSW

Wildflower X RFSK

At Wildflower, community is at the heart of everything we do and this week we’re SO happy to be supporting Jack’s dad Ross Bingham (who also happens to be the CEO of Ronald McDonald House Northern NSW) as he takes part in Ride for Sick Kids, riding over 500km to raise money to support sick kids and their families.

It’s a sad truth that so many of know have been or know someone who’s been affected by serious illness in children and though, as Wallsy locals, we can take for granted that we’re so close to the John Hunter Hospital, that is not a luxury afforded to so many. Ronald McDonald House are uniquely positioned to bridge that gap and help families in such a special and practical way while they’re walking through a difficult season.

Ronald McDonald House is a “home away from home” for children and families and means that parents can stay close, cook a meal and be together through some of the hardest days of their lives.

Here’s the goal:

  • It costs around $190 to provide a family one night of accommodation at Ronald McDonald House.
  • Our goal is to raise enough to cover 10 nights ($1,900) of care

Here’s how we’re doing it:

  • Pop a $5 or $10 donation when you order your morning coffee at Wildflower  (every bit adds up!).
  • Make a larger donation here on our fundraising page — $50+ donations go into our weekly prize draw, $250+ donations will receive a shoutout on our socials
  • Share a post or video to spread the word

We feel so lucky to be a part of a community who champions causes, strengthens each other’s weaknesses and generously give to make dark times brighter for so many.. so thank you!!! X
