I’m helping families with a sick child stay together and close when it matters most at Ronald McDonald House Northern NSW.When a child is seriously ill or injured, families don't just visit. They stay. Staying close means being there for important conversations, difficult decisions, daily routines and precious moments that can't be missed. No family should have to deal with their child’s medical crisis alone.
Through Ronald McDonald House Northern NSW's essential programs – their Houses, Family Rooms, Family Hub, Family Retreat and Learning Program – families are surrounded with the resources, services and support they need, removing barriers so they can be at the heart of their child’s care and ensure the best possible outcomes.
This wrap-around care supports their physical, emotional and financial wellbeing, every step of the way; making their journey a little easier, so they can focus on caring for their child when they need them most.

My name is Laurelle and I have entered a pageant called the Miss Diamond Pageant, held in QLD each year.
Think pageants are just for for walking around in pretty dresses on stage? Well they aren't! Pageants help anyone to gain confidence and learn skills that carry over into real life, like making friends, being interviewed and getting out of your comfort zone and raising money for charities!
I decided to raise money for Ronald McDonald house as my family had used it several times when needed and it is such a needed resource in rural areas.
